Continued growth in our PGD procedure volume as well as the continuing prosperity of our general infertility programs has led to an
opportunity for a senior level Ph.D. embryologist to assume the Directorship of our Los Angeles ART labortaory. This position will involve
the provision of all general clinical embryology services routinely provided in an active IVF labortatory as well as the administration of our
SART registered IVF service. Supervise and work along with a highly skilled embryology team consisting of a senior level IVF technician, a
Ph.D. dedicated to blastomere biopsy, cell fixation and analysis, a Ph.D. concentrating on data analysis, a Ph.D. endocrinology laboratory
manager and a soon to be hired second IVF technician. Hands on clinical IVF / ICSI / cryopreservation work will be a large part of this job.
Work in a newly constructed (June, 2006) 1,500 square foot state of the art ART labortaory that is a Class 1000 clean room. This facility
has been providing superior succes rates in all procedures including oocyte cryopreservartion and subsequent pregnancy.We are active in a
limited number of industry supported, IRB monitored clinical research trials and have become the world's largest and most successful program
providing PDG based gender selection. We perform 4-6 PGD cases per week and experience with blastomere biopsy and cell fixation is
desirable but not initially mandatory. We will provide training in these procedures if such training is needed. This position requires a minimum of
5 years of hands-on human IVF experience or very recent completion of a Ph.D. followed by 2 years in a program that involved heavy IVF
work. Oocyte cryopreservation experience a plus.
Our Center is located in Encino, California which is in the San Fernando valley suburb of Los Angeles. This area is the home to world's largest
collection of movie studios, broadcast facilities and entertainment complexes. There are 12 major Universities including UCLA and USC within a
30 minute drive of our location. Southern California features some of the most spectacular year round outdoor recreation and beaches and is
home to world class sports events.

A position is available for an IVF trainee interested in being introduced to human IVF techniques in an advanced ART laboratory. The goal of the
training provided is to allow the successful trainee to join our expanding team of clinical embryologists. We are looking for someone with a strong
interest in the human reporductive sciences that has been prepared with a minimum B.S degree and has strong backgorund in the labortaory sciences.
